a Difference
While the Foundation in an independent non-profit organization, it is really an extension of the community. Our work is the work of the people of North Platte as well as those outside our city who invest in the potential of our children and youth.
School district budgets get tighter each ear. Districts struggle with many of the same challenges facing the business community: rising heal care costs for employees and their families, rising costs for utilities and facility maintenance, competition for qualified workers and more. The fixed costs make it harder and harder for schools to provide the “extras” that can make a difference in a young person’s education.
Therefore, the mission of the NPPS Foundation becomes more and more important as time goes on. We hope that you share the belief that our youth represent the future of our community and deserve your support. We appreciate being considered as a beneficiary of your charitable dollars, and we pledge to use those dollars wisely.
The NPPSF relies on the generosity of its alumni, community members, businesses, organizations and Foundations to support our effort to ensure quality education for the children attending North Platte Public Schools.

Support the Foundation that provided the Educational Support for You
As a NPHS alumni, will you support the Foundation from the school system that provided the educational foundation for you? Your monthly contribution to the Foundation will ensure that your child, your grandchild or your neighborhood student will receive the type of educational foundation they so richly deserve.

Planned Giving
• Planned giving simply is a way that you, as a donor, can give money, a life insurance policy or other assets to the
NPPSF, upon your death, or a way to invest money so that you receive benefits during your life and you bequeath the remaining funds to the Foundation.
• The best way to arrange planned giving is to contact a qualified financial advisor or attorney specializing in planned giving. They can make sure that your planned gift to NPPSF is arranged just as you wish.

Class Act
Employees of North Platte Public Schools can make a regular tax-deductible donation to North Platte Public School Foundation through an automatic payroll deduction.

Designated Donations
• Choose your school, subject, teacher or program to support (Prepared to Learn, REACH educator Grants, etc)
• The Foundation administers specific pass-thru accounts, created by individuals like you that want to give back to a specific need. These accounts can be established at anytime and are donor directed in their use
