Meet Abbygail Marshall! She is the recipient of the Iola Shirlaw Memorial Music Education Scholarship. She is the daughter of Kevin and Anissa Marshall.
Abbygail told us:
I am going to the University of Nebraska at Kearney this fall to study music for a degree in Music Education. I've played violin since I was in the fifth grade and I look forward to advancing my skills while also learning other instruments. I joined band my sophomore year of high school, and played in the percussion section, specifically on the mallets. After college, I can see myself doing many things. Whether that be teaching elementary music, or middle school orchestra, I trust God to lead me in the right direction.
